Bachelors Preparatory Programme from IGNOU

Bachelor’s Preparatory Programme (BPP) is offered by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) to those students who wish to do Bachelor’s Degree of IGNOU but do not have the essential qualifications of having passed 10+2 and attained the age of 18 years/as on 1st April and 1st October for January & July session respectively.
In the absence of such a qualifying certificate these students are deprived of higher education. To enable such students to enter higher education stream, IGNOU has designed this preparatory programme It is valid for admission to IGNOU’s non formal stream of BA/ B.Com. etc. The Bachelor's Preparatory Programme (BPP) is on offere in Oriya, English, Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Malayalam, Gujarati medium. It is of 6 months duration. However it can be completed in 2 years if a student desires.
The Bachelor’s Preparatory Programme has following three courses. Student has to select any two of these courses viz Preparatory Course in General Mathematics, Preparatory Course in Social Sciences and Preparatory Course in Commerce.

Last Date for receipt of Applications without late fee is 30th June 2013 and with late fee Rs 500/- is 31st July 2013.
