Management Programmes by IGNOU

IGNOU has initiated admission process for its Management Programmes. Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) offers the Degree/Diploma programmes in management viz Master of Business Administration (MBA), Diploma in Management (DIM), Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDIM), Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM), Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM), Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management (PGDOM), Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management (PGDMM) and Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Markets Practice(PGDSMP)

All programmes have multi-media design, and technology aided delivery systems. These are offered through countrywide network of study centres. The University will be admitting the students for the above degree/diplomas in management starting from January, 2014 through an Entrance Test “OPENMAT-XXXIV” to be held on Sunday, the 8th September 2013 all over the country.

Eligibility for admission is Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks for General Category/ 45% for Reserved Category, with 3 years (Post-qualification) managerial/Supervisory/Professional experience. Professional Degree with 50% marks in Engineering/Medicine/Chartered Accountancy (ICAI)/ Cost and Works Accountancy (ICWAI)/ Company Secretary-ship (ICSI)/Law can also apply. Clearance of OPENMAT conducted by IGNOU is compulsory. There is no age bar for admission to the Management Programmes.

Walk in Admission for Management Programme : Candidate who qualify entrance test can submit the registration form (Form-2) available in the ‘Student Handbook & Prospectus along with hall ticket of the entrance test, to the respective Regional Centre along with required fee on any day after the receipt of result card, for admission cycle starting from Jan, 2014.

Student Handbook and Prospectus for Management Programme -2014 can be obtained from IGNOU Regional Centre, Deoghar by sending a sum of Rs. 1050/- through a Demand Draft/IPO in favour of IGNOU payable at Deoghar or by paying Rs. 1000/- in cash at IGNOU Regional Centre, Deoghar. Last date for receipt of request for “ PROSPECTUS’ by post is 31st July 2013.

Application form and Prospectus can also be downloaded from the website www.ignou.ac.in and sent along with a DD/IPO for Rs. 1050/- in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi.

Last date for submission of form for Entrance Test “OPENMAT-XXXIV” to the Registrar (SED), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi- 110068 by Registered Post/Speed Post on or before 8th August 2013. For details see IGNOU website.
